Banquet Records presents...TRASH BOAT Album Release Show

Following the release of their new album, Trash Boat play an 18+ show The Fighting Cocks as well as an all ages in-store just before in the shop.

They're back with their highly anticipated second full length album titled Crown Shyness, following on from their class 2016 soupy-produced debut Nothing I Write You.... this offering gives more of their punishing and aggressive blend of emotive, angst led pop-punk, that's heading into heavier and more post-hardcore sounding territory. If you're a fan of Boston Manor, The Wonder Years or Knuckle Puck then give this a listen. They've played in Kingston it's great to have them return for these two shows.

"In terms of the last album, the way that I write is very introspective. I enjoy being very heavily self-reflective on the things that are happening around me and the interactions and relationships that I have with people. I enjoy putting a microscope on them and trying to figure them out. It tends to come out in song pretty well and makes for a very engaging and emotional performance as well as great songs. So I wanted to just continue doing that."

In-store is expected to start at 6:00pm

Times for The Fighting Cocks show are still TBC but we expect doors to be at 7:30.

After the 18+ show, we'll give you a wristband to get you into New Noise for free, we'll be playing a range of punk through to ska and back to emo, you can expect to hear bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Modern Baseball, Funeral For A Friend, Less Than Jake, Boston Manor, A Day To Remember, Reel Big Fish, Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, The Used, You Me At Six, Refused and obviously much more!
